RFID technology provides the optimum complement to optical systems. The benefits of RFID are brought to bear particularly in hostile environments involving dirt, moisture, low or high temperatures. This technology permits not only in-process reading but also writing (updating) of data. The product portfolio encompasses reading devices working at different ranges and frequencies (125 kHz and 13.56 MHz) as well as the relevant transponders (up to 200°C).
