PFC controller MCE (6 and 12 steps) for automatic capacitor bank is designed to measure reactive power in the installation and give the proper orders and instructions for switching on/off the capacitors steps to maintain the preset power factor (cos).
All controllers include a microprocessor which ensures an uniform use of the capacitors and contactors through a circular connexion sequence FIFO which considerate the connexion time of each capacitor step.
