Order picking at first and second levels The V08 low-lift order pickers are equipped with a vertically extendable lifting platform that lifts the driver up to 1.2 meters above the ground. This allows the driver to conveniently reach the second rack level when order picking. The V08 vehicles are available in two versions: On model V08-01, the forks are firmly connected to the driver’s platform and are attached to the driver’s platform at ground level. In the long chassis version, the forks accommodate a total weight of 1000 kilograms. In the short version, the forks can hold a carrier of up to 700 kilograms, which makes the vehicle much more maneuverable overall. Model V08-02 is equipped with an additional lifting function that allows the driver to lift and lower the forks separately. This enables the driver to adjust the load carrier to a comfortable height for loading and unloading. Characteristics Safety On the V08, the outer edge of the driver’s platform is slightly beveled upwards. This helps the driver to avoid missteps and provides additional safety, especially when the platform is raised. The driver’s platform of the V08-02 can be equipped with side rails that additionally prevent falls and enhance the driver’s feeling of safety. In the event of a collision, the vehicles’ robust chassis is equipped with metal bumpers and optional rubber reinforcement to protect the driver and goods in the event of a minor collision. The vehicles can optionally be equipped with LED headlights and Linde BlueSpot™, which projects a blue light spot on the ground in the direction of travel as a warning signal for pedestrians or other drivers.
