Ultrasonic label sensor
LRD8200 Lion Precision

Lion Precision, maker of the world's first clear label sensor, has released its newest label sensor, the LRD8200. The new sensor uses a different technology that works equally well with all label and liner materials and artwork: paper, plastic, foil, hotstamp, clear, opaque or translucent.

The design goal of the LRD8200 was not only label versatility, but also ease of use. According to Mark Kretschmar, part of the LRD8200 development team, "Many sensors use a cryptic code of flashing light patterns and buttons that must be held down for different amounts of time to achieve different setup conditions. It's no wonder people complain to us that machine operator's can't correctly adjust the sensors." The LRD8200 has a unique bar graph indicator that makes the setup clear to the operator. The Triple-Check Verification system allows the user to simply glance at the display for verification; if the three Triple-Check lights are on, the sensor is adjusted correctly.

Like all Lion Precision sensors, the LRD8200 carries a two-year warranty.
