The chroma+scan 4000 family are laser line sensors designed to measure the profile of relatively flat, large panels. Each sensor has a 1.4 m (55.12") field of view, much wider than traditional line sensors. Profiling wide panels can be done with far fewer sensors than previously required, reducing cost, integration effort, and simplifying integration and maintenance. For inspection of panels wider than the individual sensor field of view, multiple sensors are easily integrated to provide a single measured profile to the system controller.
