The Laser Distance Sensor (LDS) is a high speed laser triangulation device to measure distance from the sensor to the target surface offering both value and high performance. The single laser is collimated to a small spot size to ensure it maintains accuracy and linearity over the full range with scan rates of 30 kHz, optional to 100 kHz. The high data rates can be used in applications including vibration, material testing and engine valve dynamics.
