Gear hobbing is, above all, enormously flexible. As the cutters turn, any number of teeth with highly varied profiles and helical angles can be generated. With their innovative coatings, a Fette gear hob guarantees more than just longer tool live and shorter fabrication times. A gear hob with the new Nanosphere coating layer can be repeatedly reapplied – to the original quality.
