LMT KIENINGER tool experts have achieved an enormous developmental advance with the innovative ACU-Jet Double 6 milling system. What distinguishes these new tools is their extraordinarily high stability – even under the very hardest conditions, namely the roughing of high-tensile steels. It has been possible to double tool life compared with conventional milling systems. This quantum leap in performance ultimately means greater process reliability and cost-effective production processes for applications in die and mould making and mechanical engineering. Simple handling The system uses the double-sided RNKX 16 05 MO insert. Not only has its geometry and cutting material been carefully chosen to cope with maximum loads, it is also especially easy to handle: small stops have been provided on the insert to enable precise repositioning following wear and tear. The ACU-Jet Double 6 tool system is available in the diameters 63, 66, 80 and 100 millimetres.
