Universal Batch Mixer FKM

Lödige Batch Mixers operate on principle of the mechanically generated fluid bed – the mixing technique developed and introduced by Lödige. Ploughshare® shovels rotate close to the inner wall of a horizontal, cylindrical drum and throw the mix components from the bed of product into the open mixing space. The mechanically generated fluid bed ensures intensive mixing of even large batches in a very short period of time. Choppers can be used to disperse lumps in dry operation or to provide controlled agglomeration during a wet mixing process.

• dry bulk materials (powder, granules, short-fiber)
• dry bulk materials and liquids (moistening + granulating)
• liquids and pastes with low viscosity
