Machine Type
Lödige Coaters operate on the co-current, underpressure principle and are ideal for film and sugar coating of tablets, pellets, granules and other formed products.
Drying air is blown into the centre of the drum by an air inlet system and flows with the spray mist of the coating solution through the tablet bed. Drying air is evacuated by the perforations and channels of the exhaust air fan. A wear-free rotary disc valve controls the exhaust air guide. Only the inside of the drum comes into contact with the product. Dust is aspirated and filtered and does not enter the outer area of the drum respectively the housing.
