DRUVATHERM® Dryer VT

The DRUVATHERM® vacuum shovel dryer consists of a horizontal, cylindrical drum equipped with a heating jacket. The product is heated by the jacket (operated with hot water, steam or thermal oil) and the product moisture is thereby evaporated. A horizontal shaft along the longitudinal axis of the dryer is equipped with specific shovels for mixing the drying product. This ensures that the product is heated evenly and „moist material“ is brought continuously into contact with the heated wall. The drying process is carried out under vacuum and therefore at moderate temperatures. This garnets quick efficient drying. The dryer is works in batch operation
