Description The Roda DB7 is a lightweight, highly durable handheld computer that can survive the most demanding operational environments.Device The sealed solid aluminum & magnesium housing protects the unit from drops up to 1.22m (4 feet), vehicle and machinery vibration, blowing rain, hose down, as well as fine dust intrusion tested according to the IP65 standard and the MIL-STD-810G in the military version and to the IP55 standard in the industrial. Unlike most PDAs, the Roda DB7 has a full Windows operating system, which opens many doors in software compatibility & flexibility and provides the field user immense capability compared to stripped-down PDA operating systems. The Roda DB7 uses a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Dual Core E3825 CPU with up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM and an internal SSD with up to 256GB for application and data storage. The bright 5-inch touchscreen display can be operated with either a finger or stylus. Share and transmit your information with one of the many internal wireless options or via the optional docking cradle, from the road or in the office.
