Using insulation displacement technology (IDT) instead of crimping, harnesses are produced fully automatically, with integrated test features. Modest up-front investment in automation saves you time and energy by reducing labors costs and achieving higher reliability. IDT harnesses are not only produced less expensively and more reliable, but they are also easier to install, and are more ergonomically friendly with fewer errors in final assembly - by using RAST over crimp technology.
