The Lumics single emitter laser diode on a high heat load U-mount has a specified maximum optical peak power of 25W and 13W continuous wave power from a 190µm emitter size. For easy integration the laser chip is available in the Lumics U-mount which provide a copper mount base with a 2.7mm through-hole and high current electrical pin connections which are isolated from the U-mount case. Alternative laser diode emitter sizes are 45µm and 95µm. The new chip on U-mount is available at 808nm, 915nm, 940nm and 975nm wavelength.
