The application-specific single mode laser diode solutions have been designed to provide the stringent noise and bandwidth performance required for second harmonic generation and frequency mixing applications, as well as the high single mode power at 1060nm required for fiber laser applications. The single mode laser diodes are available in a cooled butterfly package optionally with a polarization maintaining fiber pigtail or as a ECL laser diode with a narrow linewidth.

Lumics offers the single mode laser diodes in standard wavelengths at 808nm, 845nm, 940nm, 1032nm, 1055nm, 1064nm and 1080nm. The diodes can operate in cw or pulsed mode.
The output power cw is about 150mW or 1W in pulse operation (1064nm laser diodes) for seeding fiber lasers.
