Madison Company offers a full range of thermal switches that can be designed as a stand-alone temperature sensor or combined into liquid level switches. The thermal switches are precisely calibrated devices that cover a broad temperature range. Configurations using snap-action bimetallic disk, bimetal slow make/slow break, rod and tube and solid state construction are also available to offer a broad array of temperature control solutions.

The bimetal contact movement is achieved using the different expansion rates of two metals fused together. This is a creep action device, providing very-close-tolerance temperature sensing and having small differential. The set point range is 30°C to 130°C. All thermal switches are factory calibrated to customer-defined set point range.
