Description
The National Safety Apparel KB1323WL Kevlar®/PBI Blend extreme heat resistant gloves are manufactured from a 22 oz. basket weave blend of Kevlar and polybenzimidazole (PBI). PBI was originally developed for NASAs project Apollo in answer to the need for a higher level of thermal protection. It does not burn in air, melt or emit toxic fumes and has excellent resistance to chemicals and solvents. These gloves will protect you in temperatures over 1000°F, which make them perfect for use in glass and sheet metal manufacturing/handling, steel mills, foundries and welding.
