Magnalube-G PTFE grease is rated NLGI 2 and has a very low coefficient of friction due to its high quality base oils and PTFE additives, making it a perfect gear lubricant. It prevents friction and excessive wear on your gears at any speed, extending the operating life tremendously. It is also highly resistant to water and seals dirt, dust, and other contaminants from entering your gear systems, which is especially necessary for open gear systems.
Magnalube-G is also an EP grease that can handle heavy loads while still maintaining its lubricity to protect your gears. It will not migrate, ensuring that it stays in areas that it is needed and does not contaminate areas that it is not. It is also very resistant to high temperatures, with an operating temperature range of -40°F to 530°F.
