Magnet Applications
Samarium Cobalt is made by sintering SmCo alloy. Extremely difficult to demagnetise and can only be magnetised in the preferred direction. It is not prone to corrosion and can be successfully used in conditions subject to moisture. Typical maximum operating temperature in non dynamic applications is 300 degrees C.
