Brake magnets are used in industrial brake assemblies, escalators and elevators for the manipulation by disc brakes or drum brakes. Bie of this design concerns it high performance lifting magnets, which are characterized by high power density, large forces and strokes of 2-20mm.
Frequently these magnets are equipped also with unseer power electronics, so that the actuator in the energy-saving Peak&Holdbetrieb can be operated. An integrated AC/DC transducer ensures for the fact that the magnet can be operated also directly at changing tension.
