Compressed air systems for commercial vehicles have to be protected against internal corrosion - and also against freezing under extreme climatic conditions - so as to maintain their functional reliability. The air dryer extracts the humidity contained in the ambient air from the compressed air; oil and impurities are separated via a filter integrated in the filter cartridge.
