The Mermaid datalogger was created specifically to analyze the electrical behaviour of lift stations because 30% of them had intermittent electrical anomalies. Mermaid is also used as an electric diagnostic tool or to create predictive maintenance plan.
It is the only miniature multi-motor, multi-phase electrical datalogger that can be installed in the smallest or the most packed control panels. It is also the only battery operated logger able to record 10 times per second for multiple days. The control panels' doors can be closed during an investigation, which is a major safety issue.
This half brick size main invention monitors:
* the quality of the electricity powering the pumps,
* the equilibrium of the current of each phase of each pump,
* their energy consumption,
* if the control starts and stops the pumps when expected in the order expected,
* calculates the flow through each pump.
