The V22 is a compact vertical machining center that meets today\'s rigorous requirements for high-accuracy machining. It is ideal for machining the small molds of mobile phone and digital camera components, IC molds, connectors and engineering plastics, as well as electrodes and the small precision parts of medical instruments and semiconductor devices. The V22 vertical machining center provides precision, accuracy and excellent stability in a compact unit. Designed to machine complex materials, including ceramics, intricate cores and cavities, the V22 offers a standard 8,4kW continuous, 40,000-RPM spindle that is complemented by Makinos patented core cooling and under-race lubrication system. Integrally cast with the machine, the V22s slideways provide high accuracy and rigidity.
