This machine is the graphite version of Makino's V77 vertical machining center that provides micron-order accuracy for workpieces with a Y-axis dimension of 700 mm and weighing up to 2.5 tons. The V77 Graphite features a low-vibration, high-speed HSK-A63 spindle and Makinos proprietary GI.4 control to deliver high-accuracy, high-speed machining. The V77 Graphite has a fully enclosed splash guard that completely seals graphite dust inside for a clean shop environment. Beside graphite, dry machining of steel and castings is also possible.
