The V56 Graphite can machine dies/molds one size larger with the same superb surface quality as Makino's V33i vertical machining center that is highly acclaimed on shop floors everywhere. The V56 Graphite features a low-vibration, high-speed HSK-A63 spindle and Makinos proprietary GI.4 control to deliver high-accuracy, high-speed machining. The V56 Graphite has a fully enclosed splash guard that completely seals graphite dust inside for a clean shop environment. Beside graphite, dry machining of steel and castings is also possible.
