Visco 2000 Malvern Instruments

The Visco 2000 viscometer is the newest SHRP asphalt binder testing equipment specifically designed to perform ASTM D4402 high temperature testing of asphalt binder. The Visco 2000 offers the durability and precision that Malvern customers throughout the world have come to depend on.

The Visco 2000 viscometer features an electrically heated thermal chamber with autotuned PID controller for precise regulation of asphalt temperatures up to 300°C. Each Visco 2000 comes complete with titanium bobs and stainless steel cups for enhanced durability to provide years of service without replacement. Single point measurements can be performed via the instrument front panel and results shown on the built in display, eliminating the need for a PC. Customers wishing to perform more sophisticated tests or to save data on a PC can purchase the Bohlin Windows® operating software.
