On-line particle size analysis system Malvern Instruments
Malvern® Insitec® systems measure particle size distributions from 0.1 to 1000 µm wet or dry, atline or online, with even mobile solutions.
The Parsum inline particle probe (IPP) delivers continuous real-time data for particles or granulates in the size range 50 - 5900 µm.
The proven laser diffraction technology at the heart of the Insitec® systems is now the standard in most particulate processing industries and has been pioneered and developed by Malvern® Instruments for more than 30 years. Insitec’s rugged construction and robust technology reflect the exacting demands placed on analytical instrumentation in continuous use in a process environment. The instrument, the process interface, analysis software, automation and data reporting can all be customized to the unique needs of individual clients. The sensor's range of changeable lenses allows the tuning of instrument resolution to the needs of the process. The instrument is watertight and dustproof, and certified to industrial protection rating IP66. It is CE badged and meets industrial grade electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements for safe, reliable operation.
The Parsum inline particle probe (IPP) is a rugged particle size analyzer based on the principle of spatial filter velocimetry. Installed directly into a line or unit it delivers continuous real-time data for particles or granulates in the size range 50 - 5900 µm, carried in dry streams. It is simple to use and requires neither calibration nor sample preparation. The Parsum is successfully used in industries ranging from food production to chemical manufacture to monitor processes such as granulation, agglomeration and milling.
