Rheometer Malvern Instruments

The Bohlin® Gemini® is an advanced, modular, compact rheometer with 'fluids to solids' capability. Optimized for strain controlled and stress controlled operation it has wide application in research and product development. Rotonetic® drive technology allows performance of strain controlled tests in steady, dynamic and transient modes, as well as all stress controlled functions. A working torque range to 200 mNm and a high resolution continuous torque mapping system allow accurate setting of low torques. A wide range of EasySwapTM temperature controllers includes peltier devices, a forced gas oven (optional liquid nitrogen cooling), electrical heating and fluids circulators. It is quick and easy to configure for testing on a complete range of materials/applications, including polymer melts, composites, fluids and semi-solids.

Capillary rheometers can simulate the high shear rate conditions of many industrial processes. Rosand® research grade rheometers offer unique capabilities including twin bore designs for better and faster sample throughput, and the ability to measure shear and extensional viscosity over a wide shear rate range.

Providing accurate viscosity measurements at single or multiple shear rates, the portable Visco 88 offers a wide measuring range from low viscosity fluids to viscous pastes. While designed for routine testing in QC laboratories, its large range also makes it suitable for basic development applications.
