Layer depalletizer
max. 150 p/h | D 530, D 540 series
MANEX & Co
Efficient universal machine of one-pillar concept intended for depalletisation of plastic crates, kegs and barrels. The head transfers the whole layer of goods at a time. We offer various designs of gripping or clamping head according to type of goods.
Application
For plastic crates ("Kompakt" type) or KEG barrels.
Throughput
Up to 150 layers per hour for crates, up to 85 layers for kegs.
Construction
A robust pillar of cross-section 550 x 550 mm, ensures safe working of machine even with exceptionally heavy goods. The pillar supports a vertical drive to move the transfer head up and down. An arm moves the head in the horizontal plain. The head is driven from the right to the left position by the help of a parallelogram frame designed with the ideal movement path, gyroscopic moment and speed. The transfer head is either a clamping head (series P 540) or a gripping head (series P 530) and its actual design depends on whether it is for palletisation or depalletisation and for what type of goods (see summary below) it is used. Efficient machine running is ensured by a large singulating table, where depalletised layers are separated into rows and transported onto an output conveyor.
Summary of applicable heads
clamping head for crates - clamps a crate layer on all four sides
clamping head for kegs - clamps a barrel layer by six prismatic fingers from two opposite sides
gripping head for crates - with catch hooks and a spacing frame, pushes crates into hooks for stability
Advantages
compact machine footprint
clamping head enables universal use for all common keg types
machine can be integrated for palletisation or depalletisation
