The Plastic Analyser serves to define and monitor the material properties of free-flowing plastic bulk materials. The moisture content or filler content are determined by the relationship between the electrical performance characteristics and the specific composition of the plastic in this process for example. The Plastic Analyser can be employed as a permanent component of a processing machine (a granule extrusion system, for instance) or as an auxiliary unit for intermittent operation (during inspection of incoming shipments, for example).
