Fine boring tool
TFB MAPAL

Tangential technology can now also be applied to fine machining. Newly developed reaming inserts are located in precision insert seatings and, with the MAPAL wedge adjustment system, adjusted sensitively, highly accurately and to a specific amount by means of reference guide pads.

The blades have a special arc shaped land which guides the tool in the bore and smoothes the surface of the bore. The MAPAL TFB series excels in light, accurate handling, smooth running at high feed rates and the best machining results.
