MARLAN®, an inherently flame retardant fabric used in protective clothing against aluminium molten metal splashes

Properties:

*Developed to protect workers in aluminium foundries, even in high critical areas
*Inherently flame retardant meaning that protection is not reduced through continuous use or washing
*Made up of natural fibres, the characteristics of which give
**Protection: molten metal splashes simply slide off the fabric instead of sticking to it
**Comfort & Durability: MARLAN is comfortable to wear and easy to wash

MARLAN is available in different finishes:

*Marlan AL600 (EN ISO 6942), Aluminized fabric - protection against radiant heat
*Marlan HV (EN 471) High visibility - protection against invisibility of the worker
*Marlan SX (EN 11612) with ceramic - protection against high impact molten metal splashes

MARLAN reaches the highest level in the required European and American Standards for protective clothing, like:

*EN ISO 11612 Protective clothing - clothing to protect against heat and flame
*EN ISO 9185 The fabric has the maximum value D3 for protection against aluminium splashes and E3 for iron splashes
*EN 61482-1-2 Electric Arc
*EN 471 High visibility
