The Marken 500 series hose cutting machines are the most widely used machines in the world for automatically measuring and cutting hose, wire and cable. Using a patented process, these machines are the fastest and most accurate you can get. The fully automatic 550S is fast and easy to operate. Simply insert the hose, set your length and quantity, and press start. The 550S uses a wet-cut system to minimize smoke, and contamination. Accuracy is held within .1 to .5 percent of total length. Options include Ink Jet hose marking, Insertion marks printed on the those, and kit cutting software to manage your customer's kits and part numbers. The Model 550 cuts from 1/4 inch hose up to 1.5 inch 4 wire, and 1.25 inch 6 wire spiral hose. Variant's of this machine cut wire, cable, braided hose, spiral hose, hose guard, and a variety of other materials. If you cut hose all day, there is no better machine in the world to do the job.
