Following the technical evolution of the automotive market, Marposs has re-engineered the M2 snap gauge line used for inspecting crankshaft journals and pin bearings. Special attention has been applied to four specifics area's of concern:
* Gauge sturdiness by designing a single-piece body
* Ease of use thanks to a new rigid handle
* Interchangeability of wearable details
* Improvement of lead time
Two versions are available: ELECTRON and AIR, respectively using electronic and pneumatic technology. Also this product release can be provided with 1 to 3 measuring sections for inspecting:
* Diameters ranging from 20 to 107.5 mm
* Ovality
* Barrel-shape
* Taper
