Through a multi-stage process, Mattei high-efficiency FM filters ensure compressed air free from impurities and thus suitable also for applications where air purity class is an essential requirement.
Several Filtration Levels
Pre-filtration that removes coarser impurities;
Fine filtration that removes micro-drops of liquid and finely pulverised particles;
Elimination of odours and oil vapours.
The first two phases are of mechanical and coalescent type, while the last one is carried out through adsorption.
Types
C1 GRADE oil separator filter: for an effective removal of 99.99% of residual oil. It provides compressed air technically free from oil. Maximum operating temperature 100° C. Solid particle retention: micron ≥ 0.01; maximum liquid residue content equal to mg/m³ 0.01.
C2 GRADE oil separator filter: for large oil removal. Maximum operating temperature 100 °C. Solid particle retention: micron ≥ 1; maximum liquid residue content equal to mg/m³ 0.1.
C3 GRADE pre-filter: ideal as initial protection in refrigeration systems or dryers, for applications in general pneumatic mechanisms, as pre-filter for C2 grade filters and as post-filter for adsorption dryers. Maximum operating temperature 100 °C. Solid particle retention: micron ≥ 5
CC GRADE activated carbon filter: to eliminate vapours and oil odours and in compressed air final treatment. The filtering element consists of activated carbons, externally supported by a metal mesh. Exploiting the adsorption principle, it retains vapours and any residual odours from the oil separation process.
