This product line, which provides a permanent, distinctive mark is ideal for promoting by brand recognition, date and batch codes, traceability, inspection and instructional marking. Matthews Airgrit Etching technology is a stress-free marking process that does not distort or fracture the shape of delicate or thin-walled parts.

Operating on a forced-blast principle, the Airgrit provides a permanently frosted or etched impression on the surface of flat or round parts by blowing fine abrasive grit through the relieved portion of a rubber mask. Airgrit systems can economically and permanently mark glass, metal, ceramics, plastics and other fragile materials with hard, anodized or highly polished surfaces. This product group is an excellent choice for applications in the automotive, glass, and plastics industries.
