Screenfilm Packaging Unit This is designed to wrap padstacks in film. It can pack up to 2 padstacks simultaneously. The stacks are compressed prior, during and after sending them through the film screen. The compacting ratio is programmable and stored in recipes. Once the stack is pushed through the screenfilm unit, a thermal heat resistance welds the flastic film and cuts both sides of the film. This results in a wrapped stack on one side and a film of screen (with welded seam) on the other side. Then, the stacks are being transported to the retraction units.
