Production system for bearings
The new generation of MTB BEFLEX 5 series vertical turning centres has been designed by MAUS to offer a complete range of solutions for the turning of bearings with a diameter of between 80 mm and 1350 mm, and for roughing operations before heat treatment and after heat treatment, in mid/small-volume batches.
Four models are available – the 300, the 500, the 1000 and the 1250 – in configurations with 2 and 4 machining axes. These machines feature high levels of precision, excellent metal-cutting performance and manual or automatic loading/unloading.
The automatic loading/unloading feature encompasses three types of automation: self-loading, gantry or loading robot.
The machines in the MTB BEFLEX 5 series guarantee the highest levels of flexibility thanks to the automatic, rapid changeover, the high number of tools available in the magazine and different types of automation in part handling and transfer.
