The MTM5 series delivers the very highest levels of flexibility, maximum precision and the widest possible versatility, integrating processes that are complementary to turning, such as: drilling, tapping, milling, broaching and measuring. The typical application sectors are: energy, automotive, general mechanical engineering and earth-moving.
The MTM 5 range features:
*2, 3 or 4 machining axes
*pallet-changer device that makes it possible to manage two automatic chucks
*high levels of machining precision following the analysis of the structures and the positioning of the optical scales
*wide availability of tools (tool magazines with between 18 and 100 positions)
*large capacity for turning and drilling thanks to the separation of the two operations, the former intended for turning and the latter for drilling, milling and tapping
*measurement system to check the part directly in the machine, with the advantage of not having to transfer the part to another machine in order to do so.
