With all the features of the online-commanded EPOS slave version, this new master version also has an integral processor and memory for stand-alone operation and independent controlling of up to 127 other units via CANopen bus. Programming complies with IEC 61131-3 standard. Standardized function blocks in accordance with PLCopen motion control standard make implementation easy.
EPOS P 24/5 is a freely programmable positioning controller with an integrated power stage for brushless and professional brushIndustrial dc motors of up to 120 watts. This makes it ideal for very dynamic and minute precision drives and controlling systems. Several drives can be networked and coordinated through a standardized CANopen interface, particularly other EPOS slave units. Different operating modes can be pre-selected for controlling purposes (point-to-point, positioning controller with Feedforward, speed controller, torque control, Homing , electronic gearing, step/direction and position marker).
