Description
Drag conveyors or scraper conveyors are used for applications that use dry or wet cast iron for the purpose of generating fine chips. This would be where it is not important for coolant to be clean. Drag conveyors can also be used with aluminum applications. It may be customized to cater to various needs. The drag conveyors may be further lengthened or shortened according to the distance traveled by the material.
This drag conveyor uses a simple chain design for pulling material across a smooth flat bed. Its spaced cross bar acts as a scraper. For central chip handling applications, longer drag conveyors are best suited. These conveyors are also good for infeed to chip processing solutions.
