The MMI200-PC/104 is an encoder interface card to handle position control and position measuring jobs. It combines the following features on one single PC/104 module:
* two counting channels each of 32 bits
* 1-2-4-fold signal evaluation
* EnDat2.1 and SSI interface for absolute encoders
* interfaces for incremental encoders of any type
The core piece of the MMI200-PC/104 is the MMI4832 encoder and counter circuit which has also been developed by MAZeT. It provides all essential card functions, including interrupt generation (internal MMI4832 function).
To match the encoder signals to down-line electronic components, add-on modules of the UWB-in series can be installed:
* UWB-in-MU: 1Vss input, also suitable as RS422 receiver (TTL inputs)
* UWB-in-MI: 11µAss input
