Mating pieces for clevises can be used as standard linking on the connecting rods of pneumatic cylinders or gas springs. In particular, the size of these items is so chosen, that a clevis in line with DIN 71752 / DIN ISO 8140 is exactly right for use as a mating piece. In this way, a universally usable joint with terminating internal or external screw threads can be simply produced.
At the moment screw threads in the sizes of M 4 to M 20 with left or right hand fine or coarse threads can be supplied.

Considerable savings can be achieved with mating pieces. They can be e.g. easily combined with a clevis instead of a rod end if connections are required that compensate direction offsets in one direction. There are only few limitations compared to the rod end which is significantly more expensive.
