The knuckle eyes can be used as standard linking element on the connecting rods of pneumatic cylinders or gas springs. In particular, the size of these knuckle eyes can be so chosen that a clevis to DIN 71752 is exactly right for use as a mating piece. In this way, a universally usable joint with terminating male or female thread can be simply produced.
