High safety and long operating life are guaranteed by our angle joints with sealing caps, especially in critical areas. The use of these protected joints is particularly recommended where ambient conditions are difficult to prevent dust and foreign body penetration. Unprotected joints can, despite careful maintenance, be affected in their function or even be completely destroyed.

For this reason and especially for all popular sizes of angle joints as per DIN 71802 used in difficult applications in environments subject to dirtying, in particular from dust, dirt, water splashes etc, the susceptible parts of the angle joint between ball stud and ball cup are protected by a sealing cap and thus closed off.

The move ability and lubrication of the angle joints is unaffected because the necessary lubrication film can no longer be destroyed by the unwanted intrusion of foreign bodies. Angle joints with sealing caps offer the best protection against environmental risks and ensure the reliability of the linking joint.
