The Multimec 5E and 5G series is a precise product line with advanced flexibility. The switches are supplied in high temperature material only to withstand today's high temperature RoHS soldering processes.The 5G series can be supplied with LED(s) integrated in the switch and both switch series are available for through-hole and SMD mounting. The cap retention uses superior "snap-on" system. A wide variety of aesthetically designed keycaps are available, also with excellent illumination possibilities.
The standard program includes three different actuation forces: 2.0, 3.5, and 6.5N. The Multimec switches are known for their crisp audible tactile feel although a quiet version is also available.
