Sanitary valve MECA INOXOPERATIONAL SAFETY
Applications - the fluids in question
Safety is a requirement today at all levels in the chemical process.
Clumsiness, or even simple human error, are no longer conceivable in highly sensitive networks, and studies have been conducted into solutions that prevent such possibilities.
Any sensitive or dangerous area that involves human intervention in valve operation is included.
Possible solutions
The stainless steel lever offers double closing and padlocking safety:
• Constructed from a casting rather than folded sheet metal gives it strength
• Easy to handle thanks to its PVC-covered, folded trigger
• Efficient regardless of the position of the valve, even when the head is in the upside down position
• The lever's in-built spring system makes it safe and prevents any bending or blockages
Stable position
The stable position is provided by a spring-fitted aluminium housing fitted to the valve using a stainless steel kit (known as the "dead man" system), with the following possibilities.
- Clockwise or anti-clockwise
- Open or closed valve in the rest position
