The range of connectors offers a convenient solution to most of installation requirements without the need for prior preparation of the green/yellow conductor. A simple powered screwdriver is the only tool required. The electric contact with the photovoltaic panels is provided: ✔ By tapping thanks to the thread pattern of the fixing screw (stainless steel), which creates the core contact in the aluminium frame , ✔ A contact is made with the green/yellow conductor thanks to the 2 stainless steel blades of the body in contact which cut and displace the cable insulation to achieve a reliable bond of the copper threads with the bonding tool . This technology achieves a contact of excellent quality, even the difficulty of an anodized surface on the panel does not present a problem. This technology allows an individual frame to be disconnected without lessening the integrity of the connections to the other frames or the equipotential bond connecting them.
