Description
The displacement transducer is manufactured by Megitt Comapany. Its main function is to measure the variable inductance of the linear coil.
Inside the sensor is a built in temperature compensation that can be reached with the help of measuring the resistance of the coil but for the measurement of the reactance, the displacement measurement is made.
The device is applicable to areas such as those that involve fuel regulation systems on jet engines and variable pitch blade servo systems for turbo engines.
