Meriam sensor modules are NIST traceable and Intrinsically Safe when used with appropriate MFT. Any Meriam sensor module can be installed in any MFT sensor bay location since calibration coefficients are stored in the nonvolatile memory of each module. Field re- calibration is supported by the MFT's "Rcal" function that allows calibration curve adjustments at up to nine (9) points. The MFT displays module measurements and provides the user interface for unit selection, damping, control, test procedures and other functions that various sensor modules offer. All modules feature a spring loaded latch for positive installation in the MFT 4000 Series of modular calibrators / HART communicators. Click on specific modules at right for more information.
